查單字要特別留心以下地方：

動詞 注意 可接 [no object]/[+ object]
名詞 [count] [uncount]
  可加 [a +], [an +] 或 [+ s] ；或用動名詞
形容詞 [not used before a noun][be + adj]
       [always used before a noun][adj + N]

1.第一時間直覺想，跟事實有錯誤要特別記。

2. 只能單一功能也要特別記。
     例如，後面不能接受詞[no object] 或
     只能放在名詞後面[not used before a noun]
                    [be + adj][an +]。

3. 多用簡單例句，記文法。濃縮成最小單位。
     例如 so sorry， such a good student
          [so + adj]，[such a ]

     You are beautiful, so am I.
     I like dancing; so does my wife .
     我喜歡跳舞，我太太也喜歡。(肯定)
     If you don't go, I won't either .
     [用在否定句中][negative][否定]
     你如不去，我也不去。

     I didn't like the movie, Me either.
     I don't believe his story. Neither do I.

4. 把 idiom, slang 當成單字記。
    idiom 與 slang 有什麼不同

    idiom：是「慣用語」或「成語」，
    句子結構較長，時常以比喻的手法表現

    例如：At the drop of a hat,
             A penny for your thoughts,
             On top of the world

    slang：就是我們常聽到的「口語」用法，
                  稱為「俚語」結構相對較短，通常
                  其意思會與原意不同
               
    例如：What's up? , Busted , Awsome !,
               To chill out

5. 特殊用法要特別記

remain  繼續存在
有一點  keep + have 的味道
不能用在進行式，被動
[no object]

This room remains cool all summer .
這個房間整個夏天保持涼爽

A few pears remain on the trees .
 樹上尚留有幾顆梨子。
rest  剩下的
通常會跟 the 一起用，有other的味道
但other 是 adj 和 pron， 這邊的rest 是名詞

The rest of the eggs have gone bad .
其餘的雞蛋都變質了
