Instant 的中文應該可以翻譯為「瞬間」
就是有「立刻完成」的意思
但也可以形容很快很快，但不是真的一瞬間啦
像是 He finished the cake in an instant
就是說「他一瞬間就吃完了蛋糕」
不用 in an instant 也常有人用 at the instant
但有一點不一樣
In an instant 有「一瞬間裡面」的意思
而 at the instant 有「在那一瞬間」的意思

Rapid 是有「重複的很快」的意思
所以用法跟 instant 跟 prompt 都不一樣
常常會用到 rapid 的就是機關槍了
機關槍那種連發很快的就是說成 rapid-fire
或者可以說 The gun fires rapidly
就是「那把槍發射得很快」

Prompt 比較有時間性
像是 He arrives at the meeting promptly
意思就是說「他準時到達會議」

Prompt 還有一種說法
例如 He finished the task at prompt
意思就像說「他在規定的時間內做完了工作」
或者「他在一聲令下就做完了工作」來形容「迅速」的意思
