1. 紡；（蠶，蜘蛛等）吐（絲），作（繭）

     蠶作繭，圍繞自己吐絲，做成蛹
     引申為圍繞，旋轉，自轉

     The spider was spinning a web .   蜘蛛在結網。

2. 使（陀螺等）旋轉

      The boy was spinning a top .   那男孩在抽陀螺

3. 旋轉；自旋

       My sister can spin on her toes like a dancer .
       我妹妹能像舞者一樣踮著腳尖旋轉。
